Jeff Leventhal has been serving his clients as their personal CFO for almost three decades.

Jeff became a business owner himself when he and his partners created Hightower Bethesda in 2011. Prior to joining Hightower, Jeff served as senior vice president of investments at UBS and Merrill Lynch.
Helping a client minimize their financial concerns is his main priority. Jeff specializes in complex financial planning, estate planning strategies, private real estate, private equity and small business consulting.
Jeff is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) and a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®). He received a business administration degree from Towson University.
Jeff resides in Potomac, Maryland with his wife, Judy, daughter, Natalie, and black lab, Bailey. His older sons, David and Bradley, have completed college and are working. Jeff is an avid golfer, skier and hiker. The Leventhal family enjoys free time at their home in Ocean City, New Jersey. Jeff is also currently on the board of the National Federation to End Senior Hunger (NFESH). He also served in the past on the Towson University Board of Visitors, the Towson University Athletic Board and the Washington D.C. board of American Jewish Committee (AJC). He is an ambassador for the Interps program at University of Maryland, College Park, a football/internship program that seeks to get student athletes real-world work experience and prepare for life after football.
After a professional football career at quarterback that spanned nine seasons in the Canadian Football League followed by several years as a successful business entrepreneur, Dan Crowley ’95 returned to his alma mater where he served as Towson University’s Senior Associate Director of Athletics for Development, overseeing all the department’s fundraising initiatives for its 19-sport program. Dan finished his career at Towson as the school’s all-time leading passer, as well as the most prolific passer in the state of Maryland history.
During Crowley’s tenure, Tigers teams won conference titles in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) or Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), including women’s basketball, women’s indoor track, men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse, women’s volleyball and swimming and diving; and, on a national scale, Tigers football and men’s lacrosse teams each made NCAA National Championship appearances.
Additionally, Towson University facilities have realized historic investment and improvement under Crowley’s leadership, including, but not limited to, the construction of the South Campus project, which is home to Tiger Stadium (women’s lacrosse and soccer), the Tiger Softball Stadium and the TU Field Hockey Complex. Further, Johnny Unitas Stadium, SECU Arena, and John B. Schuerholz Park saw major upgrades to make TU home to one of the premier mid-major athletic complexes in the nation.
Dan is no stranger to the Maryland Terrapins with his father graduating from the University of Maryland School of Engineering and his girlfriend Kristen, graduating from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Dan’s father was also a four-year letterwinner for the Terrapins Baseball Team and served as the President of the M Club for two years. Dan is a Board of Director Member for the Maryland State Hall of Fame and Selection Committee.
Judy graduated from Towson University with a degree in Education. She grew up in the College Park area and has always been a Terps fan.
She has spent most of her adult life raising her 3 children, volunteering at their schools and being team managers for their sports teams. She now wants to focus her time to help TBIAF by helping to plan events for the community.
David is passionate about building companies and developing people, as well as, making a difference in the lives of others. David is a graduate of the University of Maryland with his degree in economics. In 1991, he was the Managing Partner and Owner at Monumental Vending. He built one of the largest independent vending machine companies in the US. In 2015, he sold the business to the largest food service company in the world – Compass Food Service.

David is very involved in the community as well. He has been a leader for the Young President’s Organization (YPO) and is committed to build on a foundation of community.
David is also an Advisory Board Member for First Descents, a life-changing outdooradventures for young adults (ages 18 – 39) impacted by cancer and other serious health conditions. He has been a passionate supporter for the Terrapin Football Program ever since earning his undergrad from the University of Maryland in 1988. He went on to receive postgraduate degrees from American University, Washington College of Law in 1992 (cum laude) and Georgetown University Law Center: LLM (Taxation) in 1995.
Gal is highly experienced in the full range of private wealth services matters, including sophisticated tax analysis and planning; structured management arrangements for families, family businesses and family offices; and fiduciary and tax controversies. Mr. Kaufman also is well-versed in advising on issues related to captive insurance.
Mr. Kaufman has extensive experience representing business owners, with a special emphasis on tax-efficient strategies that enhance the ability of the business owner to maintain the business within the family; or if a sale of the business is the ultimate goal, strategies that maximize the after-tax proceeds to the business owner and the business owner’s family. Mr. Kaufman also is well-versed in representing high-net- worth families and the varied legal and tax needs of such families.
He was a founding member of Morgan Stanley’s ESOP Transaction Services Group (ETSG) in 2001, the firm’s private ESOP practice focused on implementing Employee Stock Ownership Plans for privately-held companies. His current practice includes foundations, endowments associations, and high-net worth individuals. As Portfolio Management Director, Ted implements wealth management strategies for clients, concentrating on portfolio management and developing customized investment strategies.
Mr. Hart holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland and in 1998 completed the Morgan Stanley Financial Consultants Program at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Hart has been a Presidents Club Member at Morgan Stanley since 1997. He serves on the Board of Directors at The Washington Jesuit Academy and lives in Chevy Chase, Md with his wife Cindy and their two children.

Prior, Jamie spent 20 years working with Under Armour holding various Vice President roles in supply chain, warehousing, distribution and team sports. Jamie is a dynamic leader who brings a positive attitude and team building approach to grow the organizations. Jamie is a 1995 graduate from the University of College Park, where he majored in agricultural business, and played football for the university being named captain of the team his senior year.
Harris has tried more than 50 trials in state and federal court, quickly becoming one of the most respected professionals in his field. While Harris is an impressive man in the courtroom, he still makes time for another of his passions: Maryland football.
“D’Qwell Jacksonis a retired 11-year NFL veteran, where he was a Pro Bowl linebacker for the Cleveland Browns and the Indianapolis Colts. He served his teammates as a team Captain and as a player labor activist as union representative for the National Football Players Association (NFLPA). He is an inductee into the Cleveland Browns Legends circle, and the University of Maryland Hall of Fame.
The University of Maryland graduate has worked as a media personality with NBC Sports Washington covering the Washington Football Team and the Baltimore Ravens, as well as appearances on other national broadcasts as a guest analyst. Jackson currently hosts the podcast @athletesunplugged, covering post-playing life challenges among other vital issues. As an entrepreneur, Jackson participates in an investment fund, Manhattan Venture Partners, investing in the intersection of sports and technology, and other startups. The Florida-born Jackson now resides in the Washington, DC community with his wife, Christina, and son, King.”
